Wrongfully blacklisted phone
I purchased and iphone right after Christmas through Att. Fedex messed up and marked the item as delivered on Thursday but it wasnt there. I call Att and told them. The next day the phone arrived. I call Att back and told them and activated the phone. Now the phone is blacklisted when I already told them the phone was found. And now they are giving me the run around and have not done anything to help the situation. I don't know what else to do. i've already contacted the FCC and I'm still waiting for a resolution. Why does it take so long to unblacklist the phone. I am the person who reported it and I'm the person who requested the removal.

Return the phone. ATT isn’t going to remove from blacklist. Take it to an ATT store or call 611 and ask for “loyalty”

Really? Why do they keep telling me it will be done today. Have you been through this before?

I would say, but it would be removed....🤬. Based on other posts, I have no faith they can fix it.

Coming up on day 6 without a phone. The phone purchased at At&t, worked fine for months until last week-message of suspended service Root cause: phone inadvertently blacklisted by AT&T; an error confirmed by AT&T. Multiple trips to AT&T store, 4 days of phone calls and case numbers opened and closed, assurances that it would be resolved with timeframes and times provided. Three way conference calls with tech support, supervisors, and stolen phone department (phone never reported stolen, human error from Staff at AT&T). Temporary service resumes for an hour and then not working . Most recent update this evening is that they have found the person who can lift the hold on it.
Cautiously optimistic, I am waiting for a call tomorrow at 1pm EST from the stolen department that the hold is released. Wish I had good advice for anyone experiencing the same. Hopefully tomorrow brings resolution
