More than likely not because Appalachian Wireless is a CDMA carrier and AT&T uses GSM technology. Although some of the newer phones will have SIM card slots for international use. If you get it unlocked it may work.

Coverage wise in that area (since I live a little further north and know the area) you're gonna get coverage inside the cities. Pikeville, Prestonsburg, Paintsville and such. In the more rural areas it'll be spotty the further you get from US23.

Wondering if I can covert my Samsung galaxy S6 Edge to Appalachian Wireless. It's the only service that works where I live.
