Wi Fi Calling on my iPhone 11
I have an unlocked iPhone 11 (not purchased from AT&T) with an AT&T sim card (prepay plan). Can I activate wifi calling or does the phone have to be a true AT&T branded phone?
Kind of an elementary question but the international calling plans all mention the countries you can call from the US but do the plans work in reverse - I can call the US from those countries as well?

There are no ATT branded iPhones, only locked or unlocked. Yes, you can activate WiFi calling. No, international calling plans don’t work in reverse. Those plans are only for calling international numbers from the US, they are not international roaming plans. Prepaid does not roam internationally except Canada, Mexico and select European countries. You need the international travel add on for those European countries. You can call any US number with no additional charge if on WiFi calling but WiFi calling doesn’t work from many countries.
