What should I do to unlock my device?

I sent in a request on Dec 30th, got an email, and got a code to check the status of my device, but it still says it’s in process. How long should I wait before I need to do something, and what should I do?

If not resolved, check in status at and if still pending try and call customer care (Phone number hidden) (or 611 from your AT&T phone) and say “unlock” when prompted for reason of call. They can’t unlock, but can see request status in more detail and submit a ticket to resolve this if it’s a system error.

If it failed, same website can resubmit request. Make sure account is in good standing, phone is paid in full and the right number that phone was used on was submitted in original request.

Call and request tech support. If tech support cannot answer your questions or unlock the phone for you, then submit an FCC complaint online and someone from AT&T tech support will contact you
