Web Sales and chat

When you are told something in the chat box when shopping on the AT&T site it is not necessarily the truth.

Was told one thing in chat only to have a AT&T rep tell me that the information that i was given was not correct. That I could return the Phone under the buyers remorse clause. So now I take a Christmas gift away from the recipient to return it. It seems that AT&T is using some Fraudulent sales teniquecs.

What exactly did they tell you that was untrue? If you buy an iPhone, you can return it in 14 days under the Buyers Remorse clause. After 14 days, you can no longer return it.

Web chat should never be used to discuss sales terms, pricing or billing.  It is designed to respond to basic, entry-level usability questions.

AT&T Web Sales Center has asked that I call 1/800/610-7283.  That line is down with a goodbye and a hang up.  I am responding to an online request.  Can someone get the line going?  Thanks!
