Watch series 3 still not working alone

Let's take a look at your cellular connection for the watch. Have you checked to make sure cellular was still enabled? Try these steps:

1. Touch and hold the bottom of the screen.
2. Wait for the Control Center, then swipe up.
3. Tap the cellular icon to turn on cellular.

If the cellular is still on, has this happened before? When it's happened, was there a wireless signal showing?

You can also check the Watch using the AT&T Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool. Sign into your myAT&T account, click on the link, pick the issue, and follow the steps provided.

Do you have more than 1 apple watch on your account?  you have set up numbersync?
