Voicemail issue with iPhones on ATT network

Does anyone know when the issue with not receiving voicemails on iPhones with ATT will be fixed? I've called in multiple times and was told it is a known issue and that ATT and Apple are  "working together" to resolve it. They felt it would be fixed days ago and yet I am still not getting emails. VERY difficult to run a business without voicemail!! Time to go to Verizon??

Let's look into that current voicemail trend for you, @EDGEperformance!

 

There are a couple of steps you can take to try to resolve your experience. First, reset your password. We have had instances of customers reporting this action helped resolve a similar experience with voicemail as yours. Make sure you're in an AT&T wireless coverage area or you won't be able to create a new voicemail password.

  1. Go to your account overview and open the My Wireless section.
  2. Scroll to My devices & add-ons and choose the device you want to manage.
  3. Select Manage my device.
  4. Under Device options & settings, choose Reset voicemail password and follow the prompts.

Also, there was a congestion on the voicemail network which is now trending downwards with less customers being affected. It's likely a software update will resolve your experience. Simply visit our Device Support Center, select your device's make and model, then choose System followed by Software update.

 

If your experience persists despite these steps let us know so that we may provide support.

Hello,

I have an iPhone 11 Pro with AT&T. Unable to see the voicemail transcription (visual VM). My voicemail has already been set up, recently reset voicemail password also. No options for activating visual VM from iPhone settings or from AT&T app either. Any suggestions?

I finally spoke with someone at ATT who was able to help me with my iPhone issues. The latest IOS software release 14.2 is supposed to  fix the issue although she said it hasn't worked for everyone. 

She has me clear my browser history in Safari and then update the software. For the past 2 days I have been able to receive voicemail.
