Visual Voice mail not working

Hi,

I already reset the network settings as most sites recommends, however it is still not working the visual voice mail on my iphone. Any additional advice will be very welcome.

I know this is a bit of an older thread, but we recently experienced a known voicemail issue, and some customers may be coming to this thread looking for help with that.  We’re aware that some customers may be having difficulty retrieving their voicemail due to a vendor server problem. We’re in contact with the vendor as they work to fix it.

 

If you would like to get your voicemail back immediately, please call us and request to have a new voicemail box set up. However, please know that all voicemail history will be lost.

  • Turn your phone off for 10 seconds and then back on again.
  • Press and hold 1 to dial into the voicemail system. If that works, try Visual Voicemail again.
  • You can also go to "My wireless," select your device, and select "Manage device & features" and select "Reset voicemail password."

If none of those works, call AT&T to have them check the voicemail feature on your account.

Visual Voicemail has not worked in two days, all reset, restart, options are a fail. Any Idia when it will work? S9+

Same issue on Note 9. Visual voicemail wont work, have a voicemail in my inbox that I cant check because it says service not available when I call

 

Is this a known outage?

Have the same problem no voicemail can't access went to the AT&T in town they told me it had something to do with Google ! What gives ? What's Google have to do with my AT&T voicemail

You must have a data connection, not Wifi,  to access VVM.  

Has VVM worked on your current phone before?

Are each of you using an AT&T branded phone?

On 10-1-2019 after literally 7 transfers and 40 minutes I was informed that the VVM/VM voicemail platform in the Carolinas was down and had been for a few days. Furthermore, I was told that engineers were working to fix the problem and that VVM would/could work intermittently until it was fully resolved. The contact person also said we AT&T customers were supposed to have been told via text or (This part can't be made up) VOICEMAIL! At any rate, I have reset my password 3-4 times now as instructed, and the AT&T system keeps forwarding me to different "Tech Support" up to and including DirecTV support..They had no idea how I got there either. So having data or wi-fi or dancing around a fire wearing a bear costume will not fix the issue. We are at the mercy of the "PLATFORM repair-person(s)" if they are not still on strike. I would also like to add if deleting my voicemail account and setting it up on any working platform will make it as it was, please, have at it. That is all, and carry on. Oh, do we get a credit for a service that is out of order? Asking for a friend.

@DCinSC    Credit for a free service? Sure I guarantee AT&T will refund 100% of what you’re paying for a visual voicemail 😆

I have tried resetting data cache and storage, turning off wifi, restarting
the phone and all of the things suggested in this thread.

VVM has worked in the past to at least let me listen to the voice main (not
transcribe). I bought my phone on lease from AT&T roughly a year ago

Everywhere I go I find a {edited for word filter evasion}. Oh and having been a very good customer for many years, they were gracious enough to understand my sarcastic humor. And I did get credit. They are classy, {keep it courteous}. Thanks again AT&T stay classy!

AT&T does not lease, it’s a purchase.  

Transcription is not available anymore, At&t had it removed from most of its androids.  Can you access with regular VM by calling in and entering code?  You may need to set a code if you don’t recall yours.  If theybreset your entire VM, it erases all mail in your box, which you may not want.  

There have been many reports of broken visual voicemail.  I recommend you call and ask for tech support.
