Only really two choices. Either pay the entire cost up front, or pay in installments. Your credit determines whether they’ll let you pay in installments, as well as how much deposit (if any) you have to pay. If you have a trade in, that can lower the total price.

Log into your phone account or call AT&T to see if you have the option for an installment plan. If you do, be prepared the taxes for the purchase may be all on the 1st installment making it larger than the remaining bills.
