Update 5/6/2017 - no internet now

Following update to iPad overnight, I have no internet on my iPad & iPhone not using WiFi while at home!
What the heck did the break???

My phone got a carrier update last night, perhaps the ipad did too? @kjm-scv Have you tried rebooting your devices?

You were prompted to do what? To say "ok" to what? Or notified of what?

 

 

@sandblaster  ASKS before running carrier updates, right? (or notifies?)

I haven't seen any carrier updates lately either. Just rebooted my iPhone too, nothing new before or after (just in case).

I only had carrier update to my iPhone, not my iPad. You try reboot your ipad? Press and hold home and power button at same time until Apple symbol appears, then release buttons. If still having problems, go to AT&T Corperate Store to have SIM card replaced for free. Last thing, in same thing, take it to real Apple Store, and have Apple Genius check it out. Good luck.

***SOLVED***
Problem was / is modem. Password was reset during Carrier Update. AT&T had to login to determine issue. I'm good after resetting gateway and service call tomorrow to determine problem w modem or line.

Glad your issue was fixed but no way a carrier update had anything to do with a router/gateway issue. Whatever caused it was something else.

Problem was modem, not devices. AT&T had to login to modem. Apparently password was whacked during my update.
