You can’t pay. Only the account owner of the debt can pay.

You can't pay. Only the person that originally purchased the phone through AT&T can pay off the phone. Basically, you can use the phone on AT&T or not at all.

AT&T won’t provide you anyone else’s account information, including how much they owe, so there is no way you can actually pay it off.
