Unlock

My old paid off iPhone 6s Plus keeps getting denied to be unlocked? I haven’t used it in two or more years I’ve had two other phones since why do they keep denying it to be unlocked?

It would help to know what the denial said?

and are you requesting as a customer, or non customer?  If you aren’t using it on your line, unlock as a non customer

Are you putting in your phone number and customer info? If so, that is the problem. If the phone is not currently being used, put your unlock request in as a non customer.

First I did as a customer and it wouldn’t even let me proceed then I put
non customer and it sent me the email but just to deny me then I call and
the man did the same thing I did sent me the email and it sent me again

Did the email give you a reason for the denial? It usually gives the reason and that would help us point you in the right direction.

It says because I owe a bill I’m still a att customer either way shouldn’t it be able to be unlocked considering I pay the phone off two or more years ago

@Saymone2027

If your account is not paid up and in good standing, ATT will not unlock phones connected to the account.  If you defaulted on the account, and the phone was associated with the account, they won’t unlock it.
