Basically, I'm on gophone. I'm about to start college and I'm extremely tight on cash. I literally can't even afford 25 a month. I'm the only person in my family on att. I need to unlock my phone so I can join my family's plan. I've had gophone for over six months, and meet all the other unlock requirements. Everytime I attempt to unlock my phone, It says it can't because I haven't met att next requirements. I've never used att next, and have never received a phone using att next. So for some reason, every time I attempt to unlock my phone, It's instantly denied. I tried calling tech support but after sitting there talking to an automated machine, it got frustrating, I don't have enough minutes to do so, and I can't access live chat. What do I do? It's an iPhone 5s, clean IMEI.

Did you buy the phone, new or used? If used, it could be that the person that sold it to you had it on a plan that has not expired. If that is the problem, it will not be unlocked until that agreement has elapsed. If you bought it new, and paid full price for it, it should be unlockable.
