Unlock iPhone

Have a licked iPhone. Went to at AT&T ‘s device unlock website and filled in form. Received email stating device unlock request approved. It also said use the instructions given below to

unlock device. And then it’s blank. No unlock code. What do I do? I am no longer att cellular customer. When I call I hear you are not an att customer. So no help and no unlock code received. What should I do?

Good morning @Aliaas,


Great news, iPhoens are electronically unlocked through our network.  All you normally have to do is insert another carriers SIM card in the phone and it will work.


Sometimes you will have to backup the device using iTunes and then restore the device.  Here is a link to the instructions at the Apple Support page.
