Unlock iPhone from your operator
Hello!
My name is Kathy.I want to describe my problem
Month ago I bought a new IPhone in store.The seller said that this phone is unlock(Neverlock, so I can use it with different operators around the world)but it’s not true.This phone is Locked carrier(I can’t use it with my Ukrainian operator)
I have been talk with your specialist many times,But the only way to solve it is to reset my phone,it’s not change anything.Your supervisor said that he can’t unlock my phone because I am not your client.He also propose me to do it by myself on your website.But when I put my imei on website it says that this phone is lost or stolen.It’s not true.
I don’t know what to do now.Apple support can’t help me,they said that only operator can unlock my iPhone.Please help me!I have a very bad situation with electricity in my country and my mobile internet is the only way to communicate with my family. If you can help me please answer for this email

where did you buy the iphone? in a store in the US? if you bought it outside the US then it wa likely stolen and thats why at&t wont unlock it . at&t doesnt sell phones outside of the US

The phone was reported lost or stolen and was blacklisted. Only the person who reported the phone lost and stolen can get it removed from the blacklist, and since that’s not you, it won’t be removed or unlocked. You bought the phone from a second hand seller, so you have no way of knowing that the phone wasn’t stolen. Even if the phone was still new in the box, it could have been stolen that way. The seller lied when they said the phone was unlocked. Sorry to say you got scammed, and AT&T will not be able to unlock the phone.
