Unable to receive inbound texts from other carriers

Moving from AT&T to Verizon in 3 weeks.  The port request went through and will be completed once the new phone is turned on. 

Since the port request, I cannot receive inbound texts from anyone outside AT&T. I am able to text all carriers outbound.

When did the problem start? Are you connected to Wi-Fi Calling, or are you using cellular?

We recommend signing in to the AT&T Troubleshoot & Resolve tool so we can run tests to check your device settings. Simply click the link to get started, then test.

Thanks, but I tried all that. It started on the date that the port out happened. I spent 2+ hours on the phone with your technical team and they opened a case that was escalated. It was marked urgent since it impacts public service and healthcare but 6 hours have passed with no update.

No. Our entire healthcare and public serving organization is still unable to receive any texts from outside of AT&T. Staff are missing communications from patients. At this point, I think I’ll make a complaint to the FCC and BBB.

Hello @Bobby2234,

 

We can help get this resolved.  I just wanted to confirm.  All the lines on the ATT Wireless Account cannot receive any texts from any other provider besides ATT?
