Great question, @hollymabry. Let's look into those device credits for you!
Everybody's anticipating the new Apple iPhone 13. Customers upgrading their Apple device can save when they trade-in their old device!
However, please be advised that when qualifying for the $1000 off iPhone 13 Pro Max you will lose any previously applied promo credits once your old device is paid in full.
We hope this info helps!

So I pre-ordered two iPhone 13 Pro Max. One for myself and one for my fiance. The 2nd order I placed, I was charged tax, inmediately, for the phone and is now "preparing to ship". The first order I placed, I have yet to be charged tax and still says "preparing order". I would think my first order would update first, which leads me to believe there is an issue. Could it have to do with the fact that my first order included a trade in and the 2nd order did not?

Pre ordered the IPhone 13 pro max. The billing address was an old address and No longer live near there. I changed the billing address but the phone is still set to be shipped to wrong address. How can I get it changed to the correct address or cancel before it’s too late?

If you’re asking whether you can buy the phone through Apple and pay on the AT&T Next installment plan instead of Apple’s installment plan, then the answer is yes.

Morning @hayash18,
That happened to me so I feel the pain. Cancelling the ordering and then placing it again is what is normally recommended. Since you corrected the address, that fixes that portion of it.
I personally went to my old address and grabbed the phone. Luckily the person at my old apartment took it to the office building. I was not able to cancel it since it was already shipped.

Let's look into why your first order is pending, @JWhitmon1!
Trade-ins can cause the order to result in a pending status which means the order has not reached the supply chain for processing.
Upgrade orders are under evaluation which includes requiring more information from the purchaser (security purposes) and/or a specific device may be on back order.
It's possible to continue monitoring the status of your order at AT&T Order Management center.
We hope this info helps!

@JWhitmon1 Are both of the phones identical? Same model/color/capacity? If not, it’s most likely that one model is more popular and sold out for launch day delivery and is on backorder. OTOH, it may not actually mean anything right now and the second phone may change status to preparing to ship in the next day or two, and both will show up Friday. Unless the order gets cancelled, it’s a bit too early to start worrying about it.
As a note, AT&T shipping tracking usually doesn’t start until the day before, since AT&T only provides the tracking from their distribution facility in TX to you. You don’t see the bulk shipping of the phones from Apple’s manufacturing facility in China to AT&T. This is different for orders from Apple, because they ship direct from China to the buyer, so their tracking will start earlier.
In my experience, selecting a trade at the time of preorder has no effect on getting the preordered phone. Almost everyone submits the trade in after getting the new phone, and if you don’t send it the trade, the worst that happens is that you don’t get credits and end up paying full price payments on the monthly bill.

Both phones are identical, except for the capacity. The one shipping is 256 GB and the one in question is 512 GB. I honestly thought the 256 GB would be more popular. I ordered both of them within 6 minutes of the preorder going live. I'm gonna guess it will update today or tomorrow or Thursday like you said. Thanks for the reply!
