I get to the point where the order is submitted and then it tries to send me a code to confirm. Never get the code. Tried several devices and phones on my account.

We're just as excited as you are, so let's tell you about a alternative way to pre-order the iPhone 13 @.

 

Make sure you check your emails and junk emails just in case it sent the code there.

 

If it doesn't let you bypass that step, you may want to visit your local AT&T store for assistance with placing your order.

Hello all,

New here. I just ordered the iPhone 13 Pro Max. I have NEVER pre-ordered a new phone. I currently have the iPhone 7  :(. When I ordered I was excited and thought silver-yay. That is until after when I discovered the back was white. White is not my thing! Is it possible to change to the graphite during pre-order? Will I be penalized? I also noticed after the fact, that there was a 100.00 discount available-did I miss out? Thanks for any help/advice!

In my experience, you can’t change an existing order.  What you have to do is cancel the existing order and reorder what you really want.  However, doing this may result in getting the phone later because you lose your current place in line for when the new phones are shipped out.  If you put down a deposit or paid any money up front, it may take a few days to get the funds refunded.

Another option is to receive the phone and try to exchange it during the 14 day return period.  However, you’ll likely get charged a restocking fee, plus they may not have the phone you want immediately in stock for the exchange.


Not sure about the $100 discount.  I know about the $1000 offer if you trade in an eligible smart phone, but haven’t heard about a $100 discount.  You should still be able to get the $1000 offer by starting a trade here and using the TRADEOFFER21 code as mentioned in the upper left corner of the page.

Make sure you read the trade in conditions.  If you’re thinking of trading in your iPhone 7, it’s only worth $350.

Finally, you could just leave things as they are and use a case to cover the rear of the phone.

You would need to cancel the pre-order and start over. To cancel a wireless order before it's shipped:

 

  1. Go to Check order status
  2. Enter requested info
  3. Select the order you want to cancel.
  4. Choose Cancel order or Cancel item. Don’t see a Cancel option? That means your order probably shipped already. You can still return or exchange it after it's delivered.
  5. Follow the prompts to confirm your cancellation.

Your new order will be subject to availability which may cause delays for the new order.

 

There is a $1000 trade-in offer with I-phone 13 Pre-orders if you trade-in in an eligible smart phone.

Customer service keeps telling me my order is pending. I got up early last Friday to order two phones. One shipped yesterday the iPhone 13 pro and arrived today as promised. The regular iPhone 13 still shows a scheduled ship date of yesterday and no more info available. When I call customer service she told me they check the order status that same way I do online. What’s the point of customer service then?

This is a joke. I purchased an iPhone 13 today and the 5g network is even worse! It keeps dropping and I can' use cellular service on my brand new phone. I've spent hours with AT&T customer supporot and they are just useless. Should I change too T-Mobile?

I’ve read so many posts about people having trouble getting their iPhone 13’s from att. I only ordered it a few days ago and it says it’ll ship oct 7-10th. But after seeing all these problems I’m wondering if it’s possible to cancel my order so I can either go to the store and try to find one or order it through apple who’s a lot more reliable. Can I do that or is it too late and I just have to hope my phone doesn’t take a month to arrive? Thank you in advance.

As long as order hasn’t shipped or isn’t preparing to ship, you should be able to cancel it.  If you check your order status online, you should have a button to cancel the order if it’s possible.

But, you may want to check the availability in stores or at Apple first.  Oct. 7-10 is only a week away.
