Someone is tracking me through my gps on my cell phone

Drones have been following me at night for the past 2 months and when I cut cellular data off on my phone and all the apps they don’t follow me

It is certainly possible for someone to track your location but it’s not through GPS. Your phone’s GPS just lets the phone determine its location. It then is reported over cellular data, so when you turn cellular data off the phone can’t report its location to whatever is tracking you. You could have spyware on your phone or someone has hacked into your google or iCloud account.

You do know drones have an average flight time of 8-12 minutes

Well glad you saved us from implying it.

Exactly why do you think drones are following you?

Why only at night?

And where are they following you?

In addition to limited flight time, drones are regulated by the FAA.

If it's around your house at night, it could just be a prankster neighbor having some fun around the neighborhood. If it's away from your home at night, that's an entirely different matter.

drones are regulated by the FAA.

LOL, regulated just means they require a license and be registered.  The FAA doesn’t track each drone and know what every drone is doing and how it’s actually being used.

@dwill05

True, but if you get caught stalking your neighbor with a drone, you're in deep trouble with law enforcement.

@formerlyknownas  That’s likely true, but it’s not the FAA who is going to catch you, nor will they likely be the one to file charges.  The fact that the FAA regulates drones is meaningless to what the OP is suggesting.
