SmartLabel tracking not showing my returned Iphone info

So I received a replacement iphone 6 and returned my old phone packaged as mentioned on the return instructions.


I dropped the package off at USPS and kept the smartlabel tracking number. It has been 7 days but the status of package is not showing its been recieved on


I see lots of people have had issues with device returns. Is there anything else I can do at this point to help expedite the status of my return as USPS has not clue the status of my package
