Sim Unlock Question

I recently requested that my phone be unlocked by you guys. And the request was approved. But the imei I gave for the request was for the digital sim. Does it matter what imei I gave when I requested the unlock? Or it had to be the regular imei?

Hello @TheLondonX,

Thanks for reaching back out to us.

First things first, please edit/delete your latest reply on this forums post and remove the image you attached that includes personal information. This is a public forum and we want to keep your information secure at all times.

Once that's been completed, you'll need to review our Unlock eligibility requirements to make sure that your cell phone is eligible for use on a different wireless network.

If your cell phone meets all of our requirements, you'll need to submit two unlock requests because you're using a dual SIM device. You will use one IMEI number for the first unlock request, and the other IMEI number for your second unlock request.

If your unlock request was denied due to it not being confirmed on time, please submit another unlock request after your current unlock request is denied. If you're having issues with confirming your unlock request, you may need to check your email's junk/spam folder for the confirmation email.

Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.

Hello @TheLondonX,

Thank you for informing us. Unfortunately, there is nothing more that can be done at this time, as there were too many unlock requests submitted for your wireless device. Please wait 30 days, then review our unlock eligibility requirements before you submit a new request for the second IMEI number. Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Hi there @TheLondonX,

Thank you for reaching out to us for assistance!

Are you trying to Unlock The SIM or Unlock Your Device? Is this a prepaid or postpaid service? By digital SIM do you mean an eSIM?

Here to help!

Hello @TheLondonX,

We are here to help! If you're using a device with dual SIM cards, you will need to submit a request for the IMEI you'd like to unlock. Thanks for reaching out to us.

It’s the IPhone 11 Pro Max. Not sure if it’s dual sim but I know it’s nano sim and esim

Having a physical nano sim and an electronic eSIM is what dual SIM means, and the iPhone 11 has it.  The phone has two different IMEI numbers, one tied to each SIM.  Unlocking one does not unlock the other.

Hi @TheLondonX,

You'll need to submit a request for both IMEIs.

I tried doing that. I confirmed it. Then it gave me a decline message saying I never confirmed it 😑. Now it said I have to wait another month

Hey there @TheLondonX!

Let's look into unlocking your device for you. Toggle to the digital SIM by using the keypad:

  1. Enter the phone number.
  2. Tap the phone number, near the top of the screen.
  3. Tap the number you want to use.

If necessary, enter *#06# from the keypad (or virtual keypad) to display the IMEI.

Dual SIM devices dialing *#06# will only get back the IMEI associated with the SIM they are actively using. To get the other IMEI, users are required to repeat the dialing while toggled to the other SIM.

Let me know how this worked for you.

I did that, It approve the unlock of the esim, so it shouldn't be any reason it wouldn't approve the unlock of my actual sim. And I did that already and now it said I did too many times, even though I requested it the same way I did with my esim, so it's not a error on my part. Then it said I requested it too many time and have to wait a month
