Sim not provisioned HELP

My iphone8+ was working perfectly until it said "No service" once i went into the settings and checked the network it had said " Sim not provisioned" Ive tried resetting my network settings , taking the sim card out, toggling airplane mode and turning the phone off & on. HELP

There are steps you can take which may resolve your experience, @FB679!


Allow us to look into why your iPhone 8 Plus is suddenly reporting SIM not provisioned. We just need to know more about your experience.

  • Chat with a representative here and verify your ZIP code to check whether your area is impacted by service interruption. Scroll to the bottom and select the Chat button to begin your session.
  • Make sure the software on your device is upgraded.
    • After selecting your device's make and model, select System followed by Software version. Update accordingly.

Additionally, you may want to visit your nearest AT&T Store to see if the SIM is damaged and needs replacing.
