Sim Card not recognized

I've had my iphone 10 for over a year now and its giving me an error message that my sim card is not installed.  I reboot the phone and the error goes away but then it comes back.  should i take it to a store to get it checked? Apple or AT&T?

The problem is either the SIM card or the SIM card reader. Have you tried just taking the SIM card tray out and reinserting it? If that doesn’t help, first I’d try ATT for a new SIM card. If a new SIM card doesn’t fix it, then I’d take it to Apple.
