i just purchased 2 new phones today from at&t. A new plan as well i’ve never gone through them before, how do i set up an account i wasn’t given an account number & the phone number will not work

This is a perfect example of att customer service.
15 hours and no response from a forum CS rep to an obvious customer service issue.
You probably could’ve activated your devices online but, as you said you don’t have an account number so that’s probably not even an option.
Theres really no account info on the receipt even?
This actually isn’t a customer service forum. It’s a community forum for customers to try to help each other out. AT&T CS presence is pretty minimal.
And to be honest, if the person doesn’t know his/her account number or phone number, it’s going to be pretty difficult to verify them online. The best bet is for the OP to go to an AT&T store with the phones so they can help with the setup.
