Service blocked

i recently bought a phone from a friend and it was reported lost/stolen and i put my sim card in it and it blocked my service so i put it back in my old phone and the service is still blocked. What do i? PLease help

Since you've purchased the cellphone from your friend and it has been reported lost/stolen, it would be best to contact your friend so they can Contact Us to report the device has been found on your behalf. 


If your current device (old cellphone) has been disabled, you can access the highlighted link above and select Wireless > Mobile phone or Prepaid for which AT&T service you have, then contact our customer support team.

You need to go to a ATT Corp store to get a new SIM card. Your current card was disabled since it was associated with a blacklisted phone. New card should cost around $5.00.
