Hello @iPhon6s,
Welcome to the Community Forums! I would be more than happy to assist you with deleting an email.
You may find you are unable to delete emails from your IMAP accounts from an iPhone and when you try to delete a message you get the error "The message could not be moved to the mailbox Trash."
To resolve this on your device; go to Settings, then Mail, Contacts and Calendars. Select the relevant account, then under "IMAP," tap "Account." Select "Advanced" at the bottom of the screen, then tap "Deleted Mailbox." Select the Trash folder on the server (beneath "Inbox").
To save the settings, tap the "Advanced" button in the top left (to go back to the Advanced Settings Screen), then tap "Account" at the top before tapping "Done." You should be able to remove the emails. Thank you for your time and patience.
