Same text message coming from a different short code every 3 days for 4 months

For the past 4 months I have been receiving the same text message every 3 days. It looks like it's coming from my Credit Union but it is definitely not. The text comes from a different short code each time. The first call came from 100-0001, then 100-0002, 0003, 0004, etc. My most recent call came from 100-0029. I have called ATT several times but they are not able to stop the calls from coming. Twice, I replied STOP but the texts did not stop. I have an iPhone 8.

Any help would. be greatly appreciated.

Receiving unknown spam calls and text messages can be quite annoying. Let's help resolve this issue together!

 

Are you currently using AT&T Call Protect to help prevent unwanted calls and texts? Has the unknown calls/texts happened recently or is a recurring issue? Have you manually blocked the the phone calls that continue to alert your cellphone?

 

To block a number from your iOS device, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Phone App.
  2. Select Recents.
  3. Select the Info Icon next to the contact or phone number you want to block.
  4. Scroll to and select Block This Caller.
  5. Select Block Contact.
  6. To unblock, select Unblock this caller.

You can also check out AT&T Call Protect App  for more information on blocking those annoying calls or texts from your device.
