Photos and Videos

When I get my new iPhone, I do not want to transfer the photos and videos from my old IPhone to the new iPhone but I want to keep them saved on the iCloud. I don't want to lose them. What are my options? Thank you!

You could archive your old photos to an external drive or another cloud-based storage service. I don't know if Apple allows more than one iCloud account per person. Give them a call and see what they suggest.

Transfer your photos and videos on your old phone now to iCloud.  Then when you get the new phone, they should show up on the new phone once you sign in with the same iCloud ID.

My old phone already has all of the photos and videos backed up to iCloud. I don't want the photos and videos to show up on my new phone. Maybe I need to set up a second iCloud ID?

You want to keep your iPhone photos and videos but not access them on your new iPhone? Seems a bit of a contradiction or such, but you must have your reasons.

For that you would need to transfer to PC or such, not store in the iCloud.
