PHONE LOCKED

I’m having issues trying to switch my Carrier from AT&T to Docomo Pacific as I’m visiting Guam. Docomo Pacific, the local carrier here, noted they would do a test run on their ESim, and instead, full on installed in. When this happened, my phone was locked by AT&T and there is now nothing Docomo or I could do. I tried phoning a representative via a friends phone but an hour of waiting brought no agent to help. Pls get back as soon as possible as I’m without a phone through my visit here.

Your phone was probably already locked to ATT. To unlock, use the unlock portal to request an unlock.

Installing a non-AT&T SIM doesn’t lock a phone to AT&T.  It was already locked to AT&T.
