Outgoing calls receive static from me, incoming calls hear me no problem
Suddenly today, When I make a call, the recipient only hears static from me, but if they call me it’s fine, we can both hear each other no problem. Use of speaker instead of microphone doesn’t effect this issue.

i am having the same problem. i called ATT. no idea what cause is. i am experiencing it from 2 iphone XR and 2 iphone 7.

This is only if you call out of ATT .. within ATT everything works good. I tried calling Boost Mobile, TMobile, Verizon and everyone hears a static. We called ATT and they talk to us for 10 minutes and disconnect and do not call back. I had my colleague call them - she is on ATT and she faced the same issue with the service and the Customer Service. Whats going on?

Outgoing calls all static, but incoming calls are fine. This just started 2 days ago. I have a Samsung Note 8, and the microphone tested fine.
This must be an ATT issue.
I'm in Ridgewood NJ.

I just walked into an AT&T store. The store received an email midday today stating that there is a problem with a tower in the network and they are “on it.”
I’ve been having this problem since midday yesterday... I will be calling to request credit for whatever days I am left without being able to call out.
