Out of state Identification
Hello I just recently moved from New York to Indiana and I still have a valid New York drivers license so I don't have a Indiana license. Can I still go into a local store and finance a phone? I know I could call or visit but it's literally 2:54 AM and everything is closed and I was just wondering so I won't waste my time.

AT&T cross checks all of your information including your billing and address which is not going to match what's on your driver's license.
If it doesn't match orders will get canceled or the account could get flagged for fraud and everything blacklisted and you could lose your phone numbers. So sort out all of your address and billing information, make sure your credit and debit card addresses are all changed.

In store doesn't matter. When they check your credit, if your driver's license doesn't match your billing address, your account will be flagged for fraud.
Will you still be using your New York address as your billing address?
Wait until your get your Indiana driver's license and have all of your credit card and bank information changed to your Indiana address. Then you should not have any problems getting your account flagged as fraud.
