How do I have my cell phone number transferred from an microSIM card to a nanoSIM card?

You have two options,

First, you can call AT&T Mobility at 1-800-331-0500 and request a new SIM card. Be prepared to provide information about your new phone such as model number or IMEI number. Be advised that they may ask you to pay for shipping. If this happens ask for a supervisor. They will usually waive the shipping charge if you ask nicely.

The second option (which is the easiest if you live near one) would be to visit your local AT&T retail shop. (advice, visit a AT&T owned store, and not a reseller such as a mall kiosk). When you go to the retal shop, bring in your new phone, a photo ID, and any account information needed for them to access your account and explain that you need a new sim card. If your service is post-paid they should not charge you for it. If you have prepaid, they may charge you for a go-phone sim card pack.
