Number porting

I’ve gotten my phone on Tuesday of last week and I still can’t receive any calls or texts and I ported my number over from another company it’s getting really frustrating because I can’t get into certain Important apps because I need to provide a sms but I can’t because I’m not getting them at this time thank you.
