No Service in the Ellensburg Washington area

So I don't have cellular service that is working -now day 2.   Plenty of "bars" on my phone but unable to call or receive calls. I go into town to the retail store in Ellensburg, Wash. and they say there is a system wide problem in our area and that I need to download an app to report the outage.  WT*UCK is this?  Is this what your customer service has become?  So today, day two with no service, I call the toll free number from my house phone, and they want to set up some sort of pass code and I have to read a text she is going to send me.  Hello?  Can you hear me now? I don't have service that is working.  You guys have become the Grey Hound bus of the cellular business.  When can I expect service to return in our area????????

Also, please provide me with a contact name and address I can make a formal complaint to AT&T.  I will also be filing a complaint with the FCC/FTC.

Hello @FedUP1000,

I apologize for the current issue you are experiencing.  We definitely want to get your service up and working as soon as possible.

The “Mark the Spot”  app is a highly recommended tool, as it will alert us of problems in real time.  However, as you said, it is useless when service is already fully down.

For future reference, I would recommend the AT&T Troubleshoot and Resolve Tool.  To ensure the best and most accurate troubleshooting experience we ask you to sign in with your MYAT&T user ID and password.

Once you have logged in, scroll down to Service/network issues > select Phone calls > [Fill out the form] > Next > Voice call (Cellular network) > Next and follow the on screen instructions.  This tool will look at location, network, device, and possible provisioning issues which can cause this problem.  It is also great way to inform us where we are having network outages.

If you still need assistance with this matter, I will have to get some account information.  Check you forums inbox and you will find a private message form me.  Respond to this communication with the required information and I will happy to provide further assistance.

Thank you for utilizing the Community Forums, and have an excellent weekend!
