Nighthawk 5G Mobile Hotspot Pro activation

Ordered and paid online to AT&T for 5G Nighthawk mobile hotspot pro.  Received yesterday, and set up as directions stated. 

ERROR message Mobile Broadband disconnected

Called to get activated, on the phone with 2 representatives over an hour.  Still not activated.

When you say that you were on the phone with 2 representatives for over an hour and your device still hasn't been activated, what took place during these calls exactly?

 

Did they both assist you with completing the activation process, or did they let you know that this was unsuccessful?

 

Please let us know.

Well, an AT&T salesperson sold me the Nighthawk 5G mobile hotspot online to upgrade my Netgear Hotspot. They instructed me to call to activate it.  I set it up and tried the “activate your device online”. There is NO information for this device. It is still not working, and I have spoken to yet another customer service representative and their supervisor. I believe it is not an upgrade, and AT&T could use some customer service representatives that could actually help get the correct information to its customers!

Please let us know if your Mobile hotspot has a 5G SIM card, for the best 5G experience, please ensure you are on an Eligible Plan, in a AT&T 5G coverage area which is required for 5G access. Also if you are using a 5G capable device to enjoy the service.

I have a similar issue. I just activated my 5100 Netgear ATT 5G hotspot last week. I connected it to a system of Deco X20 Mesh units. It worked fine for 3 days. My rural home's alarms and cameras were connected too, and working fine. Plenty of data usage remaining for my month's 100 GB. Yet today, the system stopped with an alert - 'system data connection is disconnected'. I am 1000 miles from the home now and wondering what could have happened to cause this. The unit is powering on, it shows bars of good reception, yet the Deco mesh is not flashing red always and not green, as when it was working. 

Is there a known is about using mesh with the ATT 5G hotspot?

Why would things suddenly change, three days into it working perfectly?

Was an issue triggered? Any advice please?
