new iphone XR and trying to install email, when you select mail it comes up with inbox

Allow us to assist you in changing the default email address for your mail app on your iPhone XR. We just need to know more about your case.

Is the email address already available on your device? If not, it's likely you will need to set up your email account manually. Make sure that you know the email settings for your account. If you don’t know them, you can look them up or contact your email provider. Then follow these steps:

1. 1. Go to Settings > Passwords & Accounts.
   2. Tap Add Account, tap Other, then tap Add Mail Account.
   3. Enter your name, email address, password and a description for your account. 
   4. Tap Next. Mail will try to find the email settings and finish your account setup. If Mail finds your email settings, tap Done to complete your account setup.

Thank you so much, I will give this a try. I have all the settings for this account by it use POP3 server.  Also one other Question, I just got this new phone and have it all set up but for email but the volume is extremely low when you get a phone call. I have it turned up as loud and it will go but can just barely hear them and I can put on speaker and it works fine. The button on the side is not set to silent. Any suggestions?

I would appreciate any help I can get on the phone volume problem. It is a new Iphone XR but can hardly hear when trying to talk to  the caller. The side switch is not set on silent. I have raised the volume and high as it will go but can barely hear them and can put it on speaker and hear the great. It there anything else I can do except send it back. Thanks for all the help
