Need help in unlocking my iPhone

Hello,

I went to Apple to fix my iPhone's battery, and at the end, they replaced a new phone (same model) to me. It was fine using my current AT&T SIM card in the new phone but when I changed it to another SIM card, it shows SIM card not supported, and the new phone information is not updated in the AT&T account, so I can't unlock it using the new phone's IMEI.

Hey there @ing2!

We can help you unlock your SIM card. Learn how to unlock your SIM card by finding and entering the PIN Unlock Key (PUK).

  1. Go to your account overview and open the My wireless section.
  2. Scroll to My devices & add-ons and choose the device that needs a PUK code.
  3. Select Manage my device.
  4. Under See device options, select Get your PIN unlock key (PUK).

Be careful to avoid entering the PUK code more than 10 times. Otherwise, you will need to contact us to replace the SIM.

Hope this info helps.

Wow, I don’t think he’s asking for a PUK code.  He’s probably saying that he’s trying a non-AT&T SIM and needs the phone unlocked, and he can’t get the phone unlocked because the IMEI of his replacement phone isn’t in the database.  His account is still tied to the old phone.
