I see this post is getting a few views. Restarting your device resolves some signal issues and dropped calls. Resetting the network can help as well. You will find information below on how to perform a network reset below.

If the phone was dropped, this may damage the internal hardware and cause dropped calls. Replacing it, in some instances can resolve this. You can use your Device Protection Plan to replace it in most instances.

My iPhone 7 drops calls almost every time I use it. I just had to call my mother back 3 times to try and finish our brief conversation! This is totally unacceptable and I have no faith whatsoever in my phone or ATT.
My Samsung 7 keeps dropping calls also. So annoying!!!!
I have been having this same problem with my phone dropping calls and my data not working. So has my husband an many of my friends and family. It just started happening in the last month. It is almost impossible to get ahold of anyone in customer service because the calls just get dropped. Then when you call back the same thing happens. One of the reps even asked if we could call off another device because she couldn’t hear, but unfortunately we only have att so we can not call off a different line. It is so frustrating..... I have gotten through long enough to find out towers are down and they are going to be working on them, however, it is still frustrating that I have to pay for spotty service. I want to know what att is going to do to make up for the last month of not having any service. If we don’t pay our bills you shut us off, but if you don’t provide the services we pay for what happens. A customer service representative was telling my husband they are offering 50% off a new phone because of the inconviences in our area, but we both just bought brand new phones a couple months ago so that does us no good. I just want a solution and I want reimbursed in some way for the lack of services. Even if we were credited 50% for our phones we just bought. My husband couldn’t tell the representative this because the call was dropped.

I have same issue with calls being dropped every time I am using the phone. I have iPhone 8+.
it is so frustrating, calls are dropped so frequently that I have to call 3-4 times just to finish conversation.

I have the same issue.
We have been dropping calls constantly and have terrible service when we are on a call. This only happens at our house. The rest of the time our phones work perfectly fine. We have been ATT customers for a very long time and have tried to get some resolution for this problem to no avail. We have done EVERYTHING the ATT reps have told us to do. Is there anything that can be done??
It sounds like your house is just in an area of spotty service. Short of building a tower right next to your house, there really isn’t anything AT&T can do if you have trouble getting a signal at your house. Your options are to buy a microcell, use WiFi calling at home, try a different phone with a better antenna, or find a different carrier that has a better signal where you live.
We already use wifi calling and have new phones. Have not tried the microcell booster.
