my inbox email on Iphone 6 is not showing any emails

my inbox email on Iphone 6 is not showing any emails, all other are okay.

I have already reset network and deleted the account and re-added it.

I have another account from work that is working on the phone fine.

Home is not working.

please advise,

Hey there Vanessa,

I know how frustrating it is to be disconnected from your email. I have a few steps of advise.

First, have you been able to send emails at all using your device? Not being able to send or receive messages may indicate that your settings are not synced. This can happen after changing your password with your email provider.


To make sure that your account settings are correct, compare the settings in the Mail app to the settings for your email account:


  1. Go to Settings > Accounts & Passwords and tap your email account.
  2. Tap your email address next to Account to see the account information, such as the incoming and outgoing mail servers.
  3. Check the recommended settings for your email account in the Mail Settings Lookup tool and make sure that they’re the same as what you see on your screen. If you don’t see the settings for your email account, contact your email provider or system administrator.

If the emails don't return please review the apple support page or our handy Troubleshoot and Resolve page.

Hello,

I have always been able to send and still can on both accounts.

I have 2 accounts one for work and one for home.

My home inbox is not working correctly. ALL other folders are working in the
home account.

It will show a number of new emails have arrived but then show nothing in
the inbox.



Yesterday, it started working correctly, then it happened again, where it
shows no emails in the inbox.

Please help me,

Did this ever get resolved?  I’m having the same issue with iPhone 7. I’ve spent numerous hours on the phone with ATT, yahoo & Apple. The Yahoo! Number I called wanted me to purchase a $500 antivirus

We want to continue digging into this issue for you. If the troubleshooting options didn't work out for you, we'd like to know more about the e-mail that isn't working for you specifically. Which e-mail service are you having troubles with? Also, are you able to load any of these e-mails on a laptop or desktop? If you aren't able to load them on any device, then this may be a problem with the e-mail service itself. If you are able to use it outside of your device, please let us know.

Having same problem on my iphone 6 using apple mail. Started on july 5.  I see my emails on my desktop but nothing on my phone.  Have deleted account and re-added multiple times—following all troubleshooting tips from both ATT/yahoo as well as apple. Grrr—really frustrated.  My gmail account on apple mail is perfectly fine.

My email is Yahoo! SBC.
And I can get my emails on all other devises, laptop and iPad.
As a matter of fact I have to yahoo accounts as I already explained.
1. Work and 2. Home
That are on my phone.
My work email is fine it is only my home email (the one you are sending to) that will not show up on my iPhone.

Have you checked to see if your mailboxes have been merged into one inbox? Make sure that your inbox settings are set to default then attempt resetting your device.

I have done all that. I have reset and re loaded the account as well. My accounts are not merged.
