My AT&T 14pro max is not unlocking

Please I’m trying to unlock my AT&T 14pro max . It’s is clean with no debt . I have checked the status on all sites and everything shows it’s an AT&T purchased device . But if I place an unlock request the feedback says my device is not an AT&T device

If a device is purchased in full, not activated on an account, the user must wait 60 days from the purcahse date before you can submit an unlock request. https://www.att.com/deviceunlock/

Your personal device:

  • Is an AT&T phone or device and isn't active on another AT&T account.
  • Has a paid-off installment plan:
    • Paid through your monthly bill: Submit your unlock request at the start of your next bill period.
    • Paid off early: The wireless number assigned to the device must be active for at least 60 days. Wait 48 hours after you make your final payment to submit your unlock request.
  • Was paid in full when you bought it (it was not purchased on an installment plan). You must wait 60 days from your purchase date to submit an unlock request.

That feedback typically means the imei is not in ATT’s database. Was the phone ever activated on ATT?

In addition did you purchase directly from AT&T or from a 3rd party?

Where did you buy the phone from?  Was the phone ever used on AT&T?  If the phone was new in the box, not bought from AT&T, and never used on AT&T, it’s never been registered on AT&T’s network and is not in the database that AT&T uses for unlocking.  If it’s not in that database, then the online unlocking portal won’t work.  You’ll have to contact AT&T directly, but if you didn’t buy the phone from AT&T or an authorized retailer, they will likely tell you to ask the seller to get it unlocked.  Also, as noted, the phone has to be used on the AT&T network for at least 60 days before it’s eligible for unlocking.

Hi ravel. We want to look into your request for unlocking your Apple iPhone 14.

As @SoloTX shared, there are specific requirements that your iPhone 14 must meet before it's eligible to unlock including being an AT&T device and having been active on the AT&T network for 60 days.

If it's not an AT&T device, we won't be able to unlock it. You can find similar details under General Requirements for All Unlock Requests when you go to AT&T Device Unlock Help - Solutions & FAQs which includes an attachment to our device unlock requirements.

Also, if the device was purchased from a seller, then you will need to contact that seller and have them perform the unlock request. Make sure to view the section eBay & Non-AT&T Purchases where you will find all details shared in this reply.

Reach back out and provide us more details. If you meet the requirements we can invite you into a DM in order to provide a definite solution.
