Is there any way to unlock my phone

I have an iPhone xr(purchased from AT&T in 2019) and I switched to Prepaid before going back my home country, South Korea due to my personal affairs. I wanted my phone to be unlocked so I submitted my unlock request 01/13/2020.

Yesterday, I got a message for my request and it said “Your unlock request was denied because your account hasn't been active for at least 60 days.”

I think the eligibility of my phone seems good because I paid in full to switch my phone to prepaid phone.

For a convenience check, I leave my request number : NUL122478872715.

Please let me know the way to unlock my phone.

You will have to call and speak to tech support. This is not how you reach AT&T. This is very much a customer populated forum

Hello,

That’s correct. If you read guidelines on www.att.com/deviceunlock it states the device has to be a full on a postpaid, but prepaid requires six months of service to be eligible. The devic should have been paid off and then requested to unlock and moved to prepaid after the 24-48 hour period to get unlock approval. He way it is now, you’ll hav ego keep the prepaid service active for six continuous months and the. Submit request to get approved.
