iPhone X blacklist/unblacklist

Hello, I recently bought iPhone X second hand and I found out it is sim locked. After a bit of research, I found out that it is not only blocked to AT&T but blacklisted, too. Strangely, the phone was manifactured on 01/14/2018 but blacklisted only month and day later.

Is there any chance it could be a mistake and how to figure it out?

Thanks, Viktor.

Unfortunately it probably means the phone never made it to its original purchaser and was stolen in the mail. Get your money back. AT&T cannot and will not remove a phone from The Blacklist if you are not the person who put it on The Blacklist in the first place.

@Vicxkiy5 The same incident happened with me last year When I purchase 2nd hand iPhone 8 the seller said there is some issue it blocked Signal and i want to sell it then I purchased it but then I found that It was a stolen set, and a FIR also fired against the mobile phone.
