Not sure what you mean by a different SIM card tray. You remove the actual SIM card before trading it in, but the tray stays in there. I don’t think I’ve heard of the tray being replaced, but if one was damaged and replaced with a like for like replacement and worked when a SIM is put in it, it shouldn’t be a problem. The exterior part of the tray is the correct color, isn’t it? If it’s a different color, that may devalue it.
