iPhone Sim Unlock request help......
A friend of mine gave me his iPhone 6 since he upgraded to a newer iPhone. I sent an unlock request, since i'm with another carrier, through the portal but never received an email to confirm the request. Does it take while to receive the confirm email? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Community Forums. What a great friend! I would be happy to go over the unlock procedure.
First step, please make sure your friend took the device off the account. If the phone is still associated with his account and he does not make the request, it will be denied. Once the phone is off of his account you will be able to make the request.
Make sure you use a valid email address and it is entered correctly. The email should arrive quickly, but can take up to two hours. Please check your spam folder as well. Once the email has been confirmed it will take 2 business days for the decision.
