IPhone Plus Safari orientation crash issue

Has anyone else experienced this? In Safari, when I rotate the screen from vertical to horizontal mode it inevitably crashes within a few seconds, and goes back to the home screen. This never happens when I start out in landscape (I can go back and forth between orientations with no problem). But only when starting out portrait, and rotate to landscape.
