Iphone connectivity issues in certain areas of home

My iPhone service seems to act up in certain areas of my home such as in the daylight basement. Cellular Data and WiFi tabs are switched on. FYI: WiFi works fine in this same area. Any suggestions as to how to get better cell service in these spotty areas? For example, is there a 3rd party device that will help. Thanks.
