Which phone trade in gets the $650 for purchasing the iPhone 7? Not even the iPhone 6s 128gb shows a trade in value of 650 on tradein.att.com

just confirmed with customer service that as long as it's an iphone 6 or 6s in good condition, you get the 650. ignore values given on the tradein.att.com site.

This is my first time pre-ordering the new iPhone through AT&T and I was curious about which courier AT&T uses to ship iPhones. I know Apple typically uses UPS and requires either a signature or a pre-signed document for delivery. Does anyone know which courier AT&T uses? FedEx and UPS deliver at different times in my area so I just wanted to plan ahead.

All of my orders with AT&T have come via FedEx.

It could be any carrier really. They just pick one whenever it ships. Now I know for warranty and insurance replacement devices there isn't any signature required. For new activations and upgrades, I think it's the same thing.

Do stores typically have a stock supply of the new phones that they get?

I know for the three stores in my hood they did have stock every year.  I am guessing yes for this year.

AT&T store stock is usually somewhat limited for the first few weeks.  All colors and capacities may not be available.

Jet Back in anything or Black in the Plus or 128/256GB may be tough to find.

How long would it take to reset my upgrade eligibility with AT&T if I cancel my Apple.com preorder for an iPhone?

Thanks!

It's time to start thinking and planning ahead.  Historically,  AT&T has shipped new iPhones via UPS (in my area) and they have been shipped with no signature required.  With this in mind, there have been known cases of thieves following UPS trucks around on launch day and grabbing new iPhones off doorsteps, so if you have ordered a new iPhone, I suggest they you plan to have someone present to get your phone when it is delivered.  Either way, what matters is that AT&T ships without a signature required regardless of the shipping company.

I dont see any reason for things to be any different this year from previous years, so you may want to think about your delivery schedules...

As others have said, new colors are usually the first to sell out.  Also the lowest 2 storage capacities tend to sell out before the highest.

For the iPhone 5, I walked into an AT&T store in Indianapolis, IN while traveling, and at 2:00pm, I purchased an iPhone 5, black, 64GB (highest capacity available).  I got the last one that store had, but the local Apple store and even the local Best Buy were sold out of AT&T models entirely.  For the iPhone 6, I walked into my local store near home and purchased the 128GB Space Grey model and they still had a few 128GB ones left, but they were sold out of all Gold iPhones and almost all Silver ones.

Based on Apple's official information, there is NO chance of you getting a
Jet Black model tomorrow, anywhere.

This is probably the most asked question. I've been with AT&T for over 13 years now probably another 20 years throughout my career move where is was available. Here's my issue, I've been using apples iPhone since he 3GS mostly used Apple Store after the iPhone were sold and used with other carriers. Last Friday, like a lot of folks did, I woke up at 3 am, like I normally do for apple launches. Instead of using Apple Store like I've done years after year, I tried something different, I used AT&T on line to order. I had secured 2 black iPhones 7 plus by est 03:30 and got a visual conformation that they'd be delivered on the 16th. At around 1230 that day I receive to confirmations with shipping dates of 23-30 sep. what happen to my order between 0330 and 1230. They've had a status of preparing to ship since the 10th. Ive Calle and a CS rep told me the were in a warehouse getting prepared. Can someone from AT&T hierarchy answer my question? This is the First time since the 3GS I'm not getting the iPhone on the launch day? WHY? Dan, from vine grove ky.
