iPhone 6s Plus Shipping dates

Why is iPhone 6s Plus shipinng dates are Oct 16 - Oct 23 ? While on the Apple.com it shows delivers 25th... I already ordered from premier site, since I had no choice as I dont have ATT Next and do not wish to move to it. But why is the ship dates are so far out for the 6s Plus via ATT ?

I really hope it changes, but I have a bad feeling about this.....

I got two emails. One thank you for your order at 3:01 and then a confirmation within a few minutes.

I too am trying to do the standard 2 year upgrade on two of my lines. I am unable to preorder my iPhone's online because my actual upgrade date is October 1st. Yesterday I was told to call back today and that they would be able to override and order the phones for me. When I actually called today I was told that I was misinformed. I requested to cancel all five of my lines October 1st. The supervisor I spoke to happily took my cancellation request and did absolutely nothing to try and keep me as a customer. I have been a customer for 14 years!!!! Extremely disappointed. Apparently it's time to move on.

Same as everyone else, Oct 16 - 23.  I am really hoping that they are just playing it safe and they come early.

Placed my order at 12:04 AM PST, first confirmation email at 12:05AM and second confirmation at 12:11 AM.

They charged me too, right when I placed my order. I *thought* they were only to charge my account when the phone was shipped.

Just got a confirmation email as well, again with dates 10/16/2015 to 10/23/2015 Not a good sign! Not fair from ATT side as well as it was understood that this phones will be available at launch, and they seem to be from Apple directly.. I need to dispose of my phone prior to 10/16, what am I supposed to do?
