iphone 6 plus Shipping Delay ATT No Help
Ordered 9/23, (2) iphone 6 PLUS Space Gray, Business account, shipping window of 10/31/14-11/11/14. Well my window ended 2 days ago. On the 11th my 877# status went from backordered to "being processed with an expected ship date of 10/31-11/11.????? No phone yet, no tracking number, no progress. I have talked with a number of Customer Service Reps and get a different answer from each one. ATT could not look more silly than to have a expired shipping window still posted on website....it hasn't shipped so update it.
I called...One Rep told me that all phones ship from 1 ATT wharehouse in the US and the wharehouse updates the status. A different Rep told me something completely different...that the phones never go to an ATT wharehouse, they come directly from Apple? No one can give me an updated shipping window even though the original expectation has been missed. The Customer Service Reps seem to have no more information than I can find online. I had one rep that put me on hold to "look further into my order" they came back and said you have an expected shipping date of 10/31-11/11. I said that was yesterday and what department did you confirm this with? They told me they called the 877#. Why employ them to just recycle the information we already know?.ATT honestly just paid a customer service rep to put me on hold to call their own 877# that I just called to reach them???.Chat help is no better....They put me through all of the questions, account #, address, etc...etc... to verify account. Then they tell me they don't have access to certain account and order information.....then why did you ask me the 10 verification questions? and then just tell me the information that I can already see online. how can they have no more information than anybody can find on the internet....but they work for the company?, and if they don't why even put them on the phone. Frustrating to say the least as we are a business and waiting on 2 6 plus phones for employees that need them for work. This has been a horrible experience, ATT will lose our business.

I wouldn't get your hopes set too high. I've also been going through this whole fiasco of AT&T and getting the iPhone 6, with the same troubles. Numerous calls to AT&T, visits in store with "managers", and everyone in the AT&T network is clueless.
I finally got a UPS tracking number Monday (5.5 weeks after inital order), and on Tuesday, UPS gave me a shipping update from Fort Worth, TX of "Disruption in network - tractor trailer / Delivery will be rescheduled." 3 days later, and shipping status still hasn't updated. AT&T can't provide any help, UPS can't provide an update, and iPhone is now over 6 weeks past order date! Original delivery date posted Monday was that it would be delivered today, and that sure isn't going to happen!!
For multi-national corporations, this whole thing is a massive screwup.

So NOW my ship date for my two iPhone 6 Plus phones (128gb gold) has been changed from 11/7/14 - 11/18/14 to 12/12/14 - 12/19/14. ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. How did At&t miss by more than a month for their initial estimated ship date?

I had almost the exact same thing happen to me. I ordered my iphone 6+ gold 128gb on 10/06 and yeah i figure it was gonna be like 3-4 weeks but then they game me an estimated ship date of 11/13-11/24 and i try not to check every day because i get my hopes up thinking it'll say it shipped but then i go to check it today and it has been delayed to 12/12-12/19 too. i am so dissapointed in AT&T ive never had a problem like this before but after this i dont know what i will do next time, especially considering i have people telling me all these stores have the exact same model i want in excess. AT&T should not be giving false hope to people. If it takes till the given dates that will be 9-10 weeks. That is bull. They had a huge window to fill many orders but they dropped the ball on this one. i cant decide whether to cancel because ive invested about 6-7 weeks waiting. the suspense is killing me!!!

Seems lot of orders shipping window have been changed to 12/12-12/19. My order iPhone 6 plus shipping window is changed to 12/12-12/19 too. I am so worry can AT&T get enough devices to ship out at that time?

Yup. I live chatted with a Verizon rep today just to see what their wait times are like for the 6+ 64GB Gold configuration I'm still waiting on from AT&T, and the girl told me that it would ship immediately since it was before 3pm. So if Apple has them in stock, and other carriers have them in stock, what is AT&T's issue here? People who ordered AFTER others getting their devices (of same configuration) first, canceling orders without notification, changing estimated ship dates on the LAST day of window.....What in tarnation are they doing?
