iPhone 5 Unlock

I am wanting to network unlock an eligible AT&T iPhone. I will be using a Swedish SIM card with the company Halebop. The phone number associated with this phone is now being used for a newer iPhone.

By going through the network unlock process with AT&T with the old phone, will that interfere with the phone number in use on the newer phone?

I know this is a specific question... any help would be really appreciated.

Unlocking the old phone shouldn't affect the newer phone at all. If the phone has been switched to another device (and hence, a different IMEI), there's no longer any connection. Hope this helps clarify. Thanks for reaching out!
